2025-10-05	Nosferatu	2024	4/5	Orlok is back, with a mustache, same story of the original from 1922 but more didascalic and less visual; the theme of sacrifice and of the doomed monster well explained. Yet, you shan't easily such an evil vampire. Interestingly the movie almost feels in black-and-white even if it is in color. Probably to honor the original.
2025-10-08	Metropolis	1927	5/5	At its core a revenge story, but with themes of propaganda, mass control and class warfare. Excellent even after a century.
2025-10-10	Le mille e una notte - Aladino e Sherazade	2012	5/5	A brilliant retell of the classic. Instead of several disjoint stories the insane lord is healed by its own very personal story. Romantic fantasy with lovable but relatable characters.
2025-10-15	Mr Vampire	1985	4/5	Set in a alternate world with clear supernatural rules and creatures a jiangshi goes amok. With help, and hindrance, from his two disciples a toist priest saves the day.
2015-10-21	Paddington 2	2017	5/5	Heartwarming child story about a anthropomorphized bear that find the best of everyone. Ins't too idealistic? Shut up! We have to accept cynical to the extreme shows we can accept idealistic to the extreme too!
